FULFILLING ALL RIGHTEOUSNESS

Dear Friends,

Compliment of the season to you.

I welcome you into 2021.

I know so many of us have made resolutions and even listed them out.

This is very good. For you to fulfill those resolutions, you need determination, discipline, and devotion.

I will like you to add this to the list of resolutions you make this year;

FULFILLING ALL RIGHTEOUSNESS
According to the dictionary, righteousness is the quality or state of being righteous; holiness; purity; uprightness; rectitude.

Righteousness, as used in Scripture and theology, in which it chiefly occurs, is nearly equivalent to holiness, comprehending holy principles and affections of heart, and conformity of life to the divine law.

Fulfilling all righteousness means doing everything that will make you holy and upright, above all doing all things to conform to divine law.

As an individual, you are expected to live an upright life, most especially as a Christian.

Jesus Christ is our perfect example of living right. Therefore, we must follow in His footstep.

In Matthew 3:15, John told Jesus that he was supposed to be baptized by Jesus not the other way round, but Jesus told him to baptize Him to fulfill all righteousness.

John thought it wasn’t necessary for Jesus to be baptized because He was the Messiah but Jesus knew it was necessary to fulfill all righteousness.

Jesus lived on earth as humans to show us there’s no excuse for us not to live a righteous life.

As a Christian, you are an ambassador of Christ and you must live to represent Christ wherever you are.

Today, Christians now trend with the World and they make statements like, ‘ God looks at the heart and not the physical appearance’, ‘ God understands’, and so on.

The standard of the Lord stands sure. It doesn’t change, therefore you must always do what is expected of you as an ambassador of Christ.

Jesus obeyed both the law of the land and the divine law. We are also expected to do so today.

Jesus paid His taxes, we are also expected to obey the authority.

You must fulfill all righteousness in the way we behave in our workplace and the community as a whole.

You must fulfill all righteousness in your mode of dressings. God also looks at your appearance not only your heart.

You should fulfill all righteousness now that you have the chance than to regret it at the end.

This year, let’s add liv, ing right and fulfilling all righteousness to the list of our new year resolutions.

Through the help of the Holy Spirit, the Lord will lead you right.
