Hello, fam😍,

This is a new day and a new month.

I believe we all have a word for this month. For me, it shall be a month of great surprises, 1Corithians 2:9. What about you?

Today, I will like to talk on the topic👇

Myopic is a term that is used by opticians/ophthalmologist in describing an eye defect. This word has been borrowed into the English language to describe someone that doesn’t see clearly what the future holds for him/ her.

Myopic means short-sightedness. This is a condition whereby one can see an object that is nearer clearly while it is difficult for you to see what is far.

You will agree with me that so many are facing these challenges.

When you allow your present situation to define you, forgetting the bright future ahead of you, then you are myopic.

As a child of God, you must see the good side of every situation. Though this might be difficult you need to do that.

Some challenges are meant to break us and mold us again. Some are to humble us while some are to turn our weaknesses into strength.

You must be ready to learn from all challenges you pass through because they are to bring the best in you.

All the great men of old and the great men of this time passed through different challenges before they got to where they are today.

Success doesn’t come overnight, you have to work for it.

A student is not just promoted to the next class, he has to write an examination to be promoted. This can even be possible when he passed the exam.

You are also writing your exams, as you pass through different challenges in life.

As a person who is not myopic, you must always consider your actions before you do them. This is because there are consequences for every action in the future.

What you sow today, you will surely reap in the future. Sow the right seed!

People who are myopic are those who don’t look after their future. They enjoy the pleasure of today forgetting the consequence of it in the future.

Any pleasure that will lead to pain in the future, desist from it.

There are so many examples I can give, but I wouldn’t mention it.
Think about what you are doing now that will cause you pain tomorrow. Forsake them now and go back to God.

Are you thinking right now that with my present situation, can I make it? Are you sick? Are you bankrupt? Have you lost your job? Are you dealing with a problematic child? Are you in debt? Think of anything!

Don’t be myopic!

Put your trust in God. Tomorrow will be good. There is a bright future ahead of you. You are coming out of that unpleasant situation in your life.

This month shall be a month of great surprises for you and your family. Just believe in God.

Happy New Month🥰
