MAKING YOUR SEED TO GERMINATE

In Agriculture, there are so many factors that need to be considered before planting a seed.

These factors determine the potency of germination of the seed. Let’s consider three factors.

Soil Type: A Famer will always consider the type of soil he wants to plant on. There are different types of soil and we all agree with me that the best soil to use is loamy soil. Loamy soil is fertile soil. It consists of the right nutrients, as well as the right pH for growing plants.

As a person, it is very important to consider the type of soil you want to plant on to make your seed growing.

So many people are planting but their seed is not germinating. For your seed to grow, you need to check your soil.

For your prayers to be answered, you need to check your motive for praying. The Bible says in James 4:3 ” Ye ask and receive not because ye ask amiss that ye may consume it upon your lust”.

Are you asking for something in order to oppress your neighbours? Then, you are praying amiss.

Another thing to consider is when giving offerings or sowing seeds. You must open your heart to God to be led on how to give and whom to give.

Giving is what you should do but at the same time, you need to be sensitive. Some have entered into trouble just by giving to someone while some have been blessed greatly forgiving.

Timing/ Season: The book of Ecclesiastes 3:1says; ” To everything, there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:”

Time is a very important factor you need to consider when planting. A sane farmer will never plant corn in the dry season because it will not germinate.

You must always do the right thing at the right time.

” Then Isaac sowed in the land, and received in the same year a hundredfold: and the Lord blessed him” Genesis 26:12.

God’s time is different from our own time. The best time is God’s time. The time of God might not make sense to us but God’s time is the best.

When you read the Bible passage above👆you will know that the time Isaac sowed was at the time of famine. You might say how is it possible for him to plant at that time. You would even wonder how he got the seed to plant. It is possible that he sowed the last seed he had with faith.

Hmm…..what a great faith. Do you know this period of the pandemic can be the right time you need to venture into that business? God just needs your faith and action for Him to bless you greatly.

Precautions: Precautions are instructions that you need to take to accomplish a task. A farmer needs to take certain precautions for his seed to germinate.

The precautions you need to take for your seed to germinate is that you must follow God’s instructions and be obedient in carrying them out. Don’t obey part and leaving part because of your doubt. Obeying part is as good as disobedience.

You need to obey God totally. Saul suffered for being disobedient.

That woman in the book of 2Kings 4 gave the pot of oil she had and borrowed more based on the instructions of the prophet and she was blessed greatly.

The widow of Zarephath gave her last meal and she was not hungry till the day the famine is over. Can you also give your last meal? Can you give your all to God?

For you to get, you need to release it. You need to release your time, faith, and treasure. Those people obeyed God and trusted God. You too must have this attitude.

Have you sowed and you are expecting harvest? Your time of harvest is near.

” They that sow in tears shall reap in joy” Psalms 126:5.

You will surely reap in joy😍

  1. I love that particular part of the Bible in Psalms, those who sow in tears shall reap in joy. Tears might not be the physical droplets we see, but it could be diligence, dedication, and consistency.

    Thanks for sharing this, ma’am

    I will keep sowing
